What is a LAMDA qualification?

LAMDA exams are recognised educational qualifications and are accredited as an Awarding Body by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in England.

Adagio holds a 100% pass rate since starting the LAMDA programme.

In 2022 25 students took their LAMDA exam, and all achieved a distinction.

WHAT THE CLASS WILL ENTAIL?

LAMDA sessions include; poetry (which is age relevant), improving conversation skills as well as a number of games to play to improve focus, team playing, diction and imagination. As the pupil progresses we begin to focus on more advanced acting modules including : verse, prose, monologues and duologues. This will enable individuals to decide if they would like to continue to the LAMDA examination stage and which module interests them most. There will also be games played in order to improve imagination, creativity, diction, quick thinking, energy and concentration.
