Frequently Asked Questions

What do I wear?

 

Leggings and a t shirt or similar are best for trial classes. After enrolment our uniform is available to purchase from our on site shop. 

 

 

Can we stay and watch?

 

Only with classes for under 5’s. If you wish to stay in a class for under 5’s it is up to you whether you stay for a few minutes or the whole class. From experience once a child is settled you are surplus to requirements!

How do I sign up?

 

After the trial if you want to join you simply ask at reception and we will enrol you.

Fees are termly (or pro rata if you join during the term)

 

 

What are the fees?

 

It depends on the class, but a 45 minutes class is generally £95 per term and an hourly class is £127.

We offer package deals for three classes or more which are discounted. Please ask us for more details. 

On enrolment there is a one-off administration cost of £38 which is charged annually.

 

 

Do we offer exams?

 

Yes we do. We do Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance syllabus (ISTD) or Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

Exams start at Pre-primary and upwards  minimum age of 5. We do exams in all disciplines including Ballet, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre and Lamda.

You will be invited to take an exam and additional coaching (at an additional cost) will also apply generally on a Sunday. Exams are taken at the end of term. You will generally be taking an exam in each discipline every 12-18 months.

 

 

Does the School do Shows?

 

Yes we do.

Are all teachers qualified, insured and DBS checked?

 

Yes
