Adagio School of Dance is incredibly proud to annonce that 8 items successfully gained honours at the All England Regional finals and now will be competing at the National Finals at the Peacock Theatre in London at the end of July.

Croydon Festival 2012
Well done to all those that competed at this years Croydon Festival new fewer than 10 cups were won along with three bursaries.
Amelia Nolan- Senior Classical Bursary plus 3 cups

The Adagio School of Dance is involved with the British Federation of Festivals of Dance.
Children with a desire to compete are encouraged to take part in this forum as part of their training as the results show it is known to develop their skills at not only their technique.
In addition it is noticed that the children gain even more confidence and enjoy the challenge of testing their current skills with children at the same level.
By anyones standards the children have gained many successes throughout the years.
Medal winners, Cup winners and valuable Scholarships winners to date.

Three Pupils are off to English National Ballet Summer School
Anabelle, Heidi and Leila are off for an exciting time at English National Ballet Summer this year.
After a huge application process these girls have landed one and two weeks tuition at the highly acclaimed School here in London
Bravo Girls and Extremely Well Done !!!!
Royal Ballet Summer School Placements
WOW.. What an Achievement.
5 Pupils Applied for The Royal Ballet Summer School this year and Two Pupils have attained places and the others have been placed on the waiting list. Over 1000 applications were made for this years summer school so this is very much an achievement indeed and a fantastic opportunity to be staying at the infamous White Lodge in Richmond!!!

Scholarship Scoop for Sophie!
Sophie Awarded the Sylvia McAndrew Scholarship for two full weeks at the Yorkshire Ballet Summer School.
a Highly prestigious course where the likes of White Lodgers and other vocational Students spend some of their Summer holidays being taught by an infamous faculty of Staff What an honour. Sophie will be joined by 8 other Adagio Pupils over the two weeks as they have been accepted onto the courses well.

Medway Festval 2017
What a Weekend!!!
A fabulous weekend for OUR festival Team. All Placed and each section enter WON GOLD!! Second and thirds followed up by other members of team. Seven Cups over the past two days including Musicality and Outstanding Performance.
Well done to Our New Pupils who went out for the first time and Won Gold

ISTD Senior Ballet Awards 2017
Adagio WINS the Majority of the prizes at the years awards.
Over 54 schools competed at the ISTD Senior Ballet Awards this year the highest entry to date from across the UK and Portugal Italy and Ireland.
Adagio entered 28 pupils and 24 pupils reached the finals after vigorous heats.
The weekend started with the Grade 4 Awards and this was won by Our Heidi Whiting Age 12 and the 3rd place was also awarded to Our Annabelle Paton Age 12 and also the Musicality Cup
The remainder of the day was taken up with the Grade 6 Awards and the Advanced One Awards which was devised and delivered with such expertise and so artistically by Our very Own Miss Lorraine Swain who was later presented with the Jean Campbell Award for Outstanding Services to the ISTD.
The Grade 6 and Musicality Award was Won by Our Leila Wright Age 14
The second day started with the Grade 5 Awards and Adagio just kept on scooping up the prizes.
3rd place was awarded to Our Paris Ware Lane
2nd prize was awarded to Our Sophie Farquhar
1st Place and Musicality Cup to Our Caitlyn Francisco.
The afternoon we saw the youngest of the award competitors in the Grade 3 Awards
Our Elif Chang Aged 11 was awarded A Class Commendation
Our Amber Cook Aged 10 won Ist prize.
WELL DONE EVERYBODY !!!
I.S.T.D Janet Cram Awards 2015
Congratulations to our two girls who represented Adagio today at the 50th celebration of the Janet Cram Awards who received a special commendation in the Junior and Senior classes Well Done Girls !!! Xxx
Over the 50 years Adagio has won the Junior and Premier Awards Boys Awards and Outstanding dance awards plus numerous Finalists and is proud to have taken part throughout these years.
Well done Sophie F and Amelia H your have represented the school with pride today xxxxx
